A HOPE “re-structuring”

The A HOPE center in downtown Asheville is a day shelter program of Homeward Bound of Asheville and provider of many services to the homeless community that many who are not homeless take for granted: a place to store belongings, a mailing address, a shower, a place to receive phone messages. Soon, however, it will be going through some staffing changes. According to Heather Spencer, director of A HOPE, the shelter will go through a “re-structuring” which will involve a different configuration of its staff.

Spencer say the changes should allow the center “to better serve the many people we see everyday.” A HOPE plans to make a full press release of the changes come mid-February.

The A HOPE Day Center is located at 19. North Ann St. For more information about A HOPE Day Center you can contact Heather Spencer at 828.252.8883 or heathers@hbofa.org.
