New board members have been elected. Elections for the Asheville Homeless Network board were held on Thursday, June 10 at 2:00PM. The new board: President – Ted Gammon; Vice President – Jerry Nelson; Secretary – Gina; Treasurer – Tom Milby.
Journey America 2.0 update. Jerry had to cut his bicycle trip short. He journeyed from Asheville, NC to Arcadia, LA. For more information see Jerry's Journey.
Jerry's photographs from his trip will be on display at Ello Cafe throughout the month of May. If you would like to make suggestions on which photographs to display you can browse them here, and email him at the link on that page.
You can still make a donation to Journey America, which goes to the Asheville Homeless Network.

From our founding in January 2003 to the present, Asheville Homeless Network remains the nation's ONLY stand-alone membership organization for homeless people. We are not affiliated with any organization - religious, charitable, or otherwise - although we welcome sponsors. We are a member of the Asheville-Buncombe Coalition for the Homeless (all other members are local service organizations).
